How it Started
In 2020, as COVID-19 reshaped our community’s needs, Stone Soup PDX launched a meal delivery service to support social distancing shelters and those affected by the pandemic, ensuring access to nourishing food in a time of crisis.
How It's Going
Since then, our program has grown to deliver 1,700 meals weekly to community partners, including mental health facilities, senior communities, schools, and shelters. We've served over 50,000 meals, turning an emergency response into a lasting effort to strengthen and uplift our community.
The Future
Looking ahead to 2025 and beyond, Stone Soup PDX is committed to expanding our impact by reaching more community members in need, providing not only food but also dignity, connection, and support. We aim to create a future where no one feels isolated or hungry, with our meals serving as a bridge for care. If your organization or community could benefit from our services, we’d love to collaborate to ensure everyone has access to nourishment and compassion.
